12.15pm- 4.00pm Cruise and Explore, and Family Day Out

Come and visit Lochmara for the day to explore and experience the following activities:

After the 30th November book the 12.15 to 5.00 pm option

• Depart Picton 0900 for a 20-minute Boat cruise to Lochmara.
• Marine mammal and sea birds (little blue penguins) viewing enroute to Lochmara.
• Explore our 11 acres of native bush trails and conservation projects.
• Free use of the kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and a safe swimming beach
• Start our daily walking tour at the Tuatara and Gecko enclosures at 1.30 pm, then visit our other native species and farm animals
• During peak times order early at the cafe as there can be delays
• Cafe art gallery and sculpture trail.
• Queen Charlotte Track Panoramic Lookout hike (3 hours return, Track pass required $20.00pp) or walk on our own tracks at no extra cost.
• Depart from Lochmara at 4.00pm.

Underwater Observatory

• Book our fully guided tours of approx. 45 minutes aboard the floating Underwater Observatory.
• Be well informed and entertained by our passionate fully qualified guides. 
• The tour includes a hands-on experience at the seaside touch tank.
• Guided access to the underwater observatory, and a potential stingray encounter subject to whether the wild stingray wish to see you or not!
• You may book this with your day trip as an extra.
